July: Celebrating Freedom and Fun

July is a month filled with fun and meaningful holidays. We celebrates Independence Day on July 4th with fireworks, cookouts, and patriotic decorations. Other notable holidays include Be A Kid Again Day on July 8, Hammock Day on July 22, and World Snake Day on July 16.

The whole month is also National Ice Cream Month, featuring various days dedicated to this popular treat. Additionally, July 20 marks Space Exploration Day and National Moon Day, celebrating the anniversary of the first moon walk in 1969. July also includes important awareness topics with dedicated weeks and month long observances. I have added a list below that shows most of them.

But the biggest holiday in July is by far Independence Day, which we celebrate on the 4th.

Have you ever wondered why we celebrate the 4th?
