My Story
Hello, my name is Lamont Hyde broker /owner of THG homes & loans. I would like to take just a moment and share a little of my story with you.
I was raised in Los Angeles by my Grandmother and have one sister. As a child, I had aspirations of being either a professional athlete or musician. Never in a million years did I think I’d stumble into the real estate industry, but you can’t always predict where or when you’ll discover what you’re meant to do in life. I was taught at a young age that if you want something in life, you have to work for it. So that’s what I always have tried to do.
Early on as the years went by, I worked my way from runner at Larrabee sound studio to Head Engineer working for major labels like Inter-scope Records, Priority Records and Aftermath Records. Earning several platinum plaques for my work I have always tried to never waver from my resolve to become the best version of myself with each career move.
I got into the real estate industry over 25 years ago while still working as a music and film professional. I originally thought the best way to invest my money from music would be to put it in Real Estate. I enjoyed investing so much that I decided to get my license. Many of my music friends and family wanted me to help them either invest or find them their dream home and it wasn’t long before I was doing more real estate than music. Helping families realize their dreams became my passion. It was so fulfilling and satisfying to me that I decided to make it my full time job.
As my career advanced, I really found my stride qualifying new buyers for their first home and being a trusted real estate advisor to my numerous clients, friends and family. In 2016 I became licensed to originate loans and since then got my Mortgage brokers license and started my own company THG home loans
My expertise is in both residential real estate and lending is One of the things that set me apart from many brokers. It helps me to see the big picture for families. From qualifying you to moving you in to your brand new home.
